Medicare Services
The thought of wading through all of your Medicare options can be overwhelming. When you sign up for Medicare with the Social Security Administration, you will receive original Medicare coverage. But there’s much more to think about, from Medicare Advantages and Supplemental plans to Prescription Drug plans and Hospital Indemnity Policies.
Original Medicare
Original Medicare is available to people age 65+. It has two parts (A & B). Part A covers hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some home health care. Part B covers doctor visits, outpatient care, medical equipment, and preventive service.
Advantage Plans
A Medicare Advantage Plan (also known as Part C) includes everything in your Original Medicare Plan (Parts A & B), and prescription drug coverage, plus additional benefits like dental, vision, hearing, and fitness. An Advantage Plan is provided by a private insurance company.
Prescription Drug Plans
Also known as a Medicare Part D plan, it will help you pay for prescription drugs. We'll make sure the drugs you need are covered by the plan you're considering.
Medicare Supplements
A Medicare Supplements Policy (also known as a Medigap policy) covers the gaps in your coverage. It helps pay some of the remaining healthcare costs like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.
